"Beware the I.W.Y!" August 1977

This pamphlet, published by "The Independent American", opposes the Equal Rights Amendment. It claims taxpayer dollars have been used to lobby for the ERA. When President Gerald Ford set up a Commission on International Women's Year (IWY) in 1975, the Commission resolved to make ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment its first priority.
