Remote Contest

Each competition season, Wyoming History Day hosts a remote contest for participants across the state to be able to qualify for the state contest. 

To register for this contest, students and teachers must complete the following forms.

  • Competition Location: Projects are submitted zFairs online for judging.
  • Judging Date: April 8, 2026

Wyoming State History Day Competition

A participant must have participated in one of the regional or virtual competitions to be eligible to compete at the Wyoming State History Day Competition.

Host a regional contest in your area! Currently, Fremont, Laramie, Campbell, Crook, Weston, Sweetwater and Uinta Counties don't have a regional contest. Contact, Wyoming History Day at whd@uwyo.edu to become a regional coordinator for your region.
