"Memories and Facts Regarding John A. Tisdale," by J. Elmer Brock, May 29, 1935

J. Elmer Brock is complimentary to Tisdale as he relates biographical details about him including Tisdale's friendship with Theodore Roosevelt, his marriage to Kate Powers, an incident in Wibaux, North Dakota, his ranch in Wyoming, his antipathy towards O. H. Flagg, and Tisdale's anger when Nate Champion and Ross Gilbertson were attacked in November 1891. Brock includes a story of the attack on Champion and Gilbertson as told by Buffalo, WY resident T. F. Carr in 1935 and of Tisdale's knowledge of the attack, which led to his murder in December 1891 possibly by Frank Canton.
